Whiskey At Sky Vine - Napa

The online menu suggests that there are more flight options available due to the private barrel selection, but that turned out not to be the case. I had expected a more immersive experience. However, the ambiance is fantastic, and with that in mind, I would still likely visit again.

The ambiance of the restaurant was fantastic, and the rooftop views were delightful. While they had a good selection of whiskey, it was quite expensive. I noticed another place in Napa offering similar options for a much lower price. Unfortunately, despite having a reservation, no one informed us that the kitchen ovens were out of order. We arrived expecting to order dinner, only to receive poor communication from the server, who made several trips to the kitchen to confirm that no items from the main menu were available. We were then offered the sky lounge menu as a substitute, but we couldn't order pizza, which was what we were most eager to try. Ultimately, we settled for French fries, which were enjoyable, but nothing else on the alternative menu appealed to us. The service left much to be desired—our server rarely checked in, and we had to ask him to bring us the bill after a lengthy wait. I had high expectations, and maybe it was just an off night, but overall, it was quite disappointing, and I would recommend looking for a better option elsewhere.

The whiskey bar is fantastic! This is my second Christmas in a row enjoying cocktails here, and it has been wonderful each time. I definitely plan to return!

Unfortunately they only serve whiskey…no other drinks (no glass of wine, no vodka), even though there is a full bar on the same hotel rooftop; and they wouldn’t allow me to go get a drink for my wife at one bar bring it over. Silly rule led to poor experience.

Christian was a delightful bar tender and waiter and room great care of us. And Owen was an exceptional chef! These two made our night so lovely. We will certainly keep returning.
