From the appetizers I tried the garlic knots, Mac n cheese bites, and a crapresse salad and I loved all three of them For the pizza we ordered the classic cheese pizza, margarita and pineapples and again it was delicious!!! You have to fold the pizza like a true New Yorker when eating it bc the slices are HUGE!! Even though we were full at this point, there's always room for dessert! We tried the New York style cheesecake, peanut butter mouse pie, chocolate cheesecake and it was literally dessert galore! There's not a single item on their menu that is not good! Everything is Their staff is very friendly and our waitress kept checking on us to make sure everything was going well. Also I was in love with their ambiance! It definitely feels like you are at a pizza place in New York. Hands down definitely recommend this place
I'm from NY and naturally skeptical, so when someone has the audacity to put NY style pizza in their name, I have to investigate. Let me just say, this is the real deal. The owners come from NY and have a grandfather who has been making pizza for years. He passed on the magic. I am a fan of Chicago style pizza, but for me, the mecca of genuine, unadulterated pizza is NY. Finding a place like this in the suburbs is a miracle. Do yourself a favor, get the zeppole in a big bag to bring home.
The food is awesome, the place is awesome and the the staff is awesome. Most definitely recommend and come back to again. I wish the Stars could go higher cause my score would be high very high.
Having been exiled to Chicagoland after having spent 15 wonderful years in NYC, I had grown depressed and lost withou8t any kind of NYC pizza. But I have found it! My wife, kids, and I now have something to look forward to on a pizza night. No offense to deep dish, I like deep dish, but the thin stuff being peddled to unsuspecting eaters is a disgrace, but now I have my place. Thank you for bringing a piece of NYC to the area. We met Vicki, and she was wonderful. Next we need to discuss the cheesecake situation. I know a guy who used to make custom cheesecakes for a restaurant on the UWS... hahaha. :
I went there with my boyfriend, who is from New York, and we loved the place. The food is great, the staff is friendly, and the restaurant is very clean. We ordered pizza, the meatball parmigiana sandwich, chicken cutlet sandwich, as well as the 7 later carrot cake and chocolate cake for dessert. Everything is homemade and tasted phenomenal. We got a chance to talk to the owners, and you can tell how much they care about their product and their customers. It was 100% worth the hour and a half drive.
