The food was just okay for me to be honest, the croissant looked like it was just taken from a packed croissant in Costco, the egg benedict was nothingspecial, the escargot was chewy and that was my first time trying it but I will never eat escargot again ever, the kids pastawas really plain with only butter on it, could have atleast made it a little creamy. The only thing I loved about this visit wasthat shrimp wrapped in prosciutto and the Frankenstein cocktail.
It was me and my friends first time here and all the food delicious. The waiter was great. They had a violinist who came to our table and played a song. Really nice. The umbeance of the restaurant was great.
Wife wanted to try some French breakfast place so we thought of going here. Literally on a weekend the place was empty, that should have hinted us what was in store for us. The place is very clean but the seating seems outdated. We ordered the crepe andFrench brunch. Crepe was so hard that my wife was not able to cut it with the knife. She said this is not at all French. Plusthey had a crepe with Avacado, which cleared that this place is definitely not French. It's simply over priced. French brunchwas eggs, croissant and salad for $16. That croissant seemed very similar to the one Starbucks has. We couldn't eat and decidedto abandon and go somewhere else.
I only got an entree that cost 32 dollars and it was terrible. The jambalaya had no taste to it. The Cajun was practically gone and the shrimp and chicken were either dried to their core or still frozen. There was only 4 pieces of meat and they didn’t contribute to the flavor. The rice seemed like it was just dyed red and sprinkled with salt. For 30 dollars, I was massively disappointed. The bread they served was like rock and hard to chew. Let’s just say that I had to use the restroom after that meal. I didn’t try anything else on the menu, but after spending thirty, I didn’t know if I wanted to try anything else. The atmosphere was decent, I thought it would be romantic and feel like I was at Paris, but it just didn’t seem right with the “French-pop” music playing. The service was the only part that I would consider good.
French stuff everywhere and the music was delightful. The drinks were good but not strong. The tuna tower was fantastic. My hubby got the beef wellington that was cooked correctly, but there was some fat! I got the lobster ravioli and it was a smaller portion. Both were on their specials menu. I had a cappuccino and the Berry Nice crepes that came with gelato. I will be back for those crepes; they were the best I've ever had to date. They had clean washrooms and friendly service but nobody mentioned our anniversary and I put that in the notes of our reservation.
