Pepe's Mexican - Naperville

Went for dinner and was impressed with everyone being so friendly, received attentive service and the food came without having to wait forever (like most places)! After dinner we were able to enjoy a few drinks with a welcoming feel on the bar side withthe same attentive service! One stop shop for food and entertainment. Definitely not a ?chain restaurant vibe?, you get thecozy experience, feeling like they will remember you if you visit again. Overall great experience and will be going back again! Thanks for a great night out!

Visited Pepe?s for a birthday celebration and had an excellent time. The food was delicious, the rice specifically was my favorite. But the best part of the visit was how welcoming the staff was, you can tell they work well as a team which is keyto a good business. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant and made our way to the bar afterwards, enjoying pool, darts, drinks &music. The atmosphere was wonderful overall.

The steak tacos once were magnificent, thinly sliced and from a local meat distributor. Now, chunky meat, grisly and not tasty at all. I love the owners and staff but the tacos are a no go as of today.

I believe this may be under new ownership. My wife and I have been coming here for over 18 years and tonight was the last. Food was like right out of the refrigerator. Sent it back and when it came back they forgot half the meal. Service was extremely slowand other customers were waving their hands in the air just to be noticed. What a horrible shame. Bye bye!

This placing is attempting to recreate authentic Mexican food but does a very poor job at it. I ordered nachos and the cheese did not even come melted. My friend's tacos seemed like they were not seasoned. The worst part of all is that their food gave mefood poisoning. Very horrible experience. Do NOT go to this restaurant.
