This restaurant is a Chicago classic—an absolute must-try and a true gem of the city. If you visit Chicago and don’t indulge in an Italian beef or a hot dog from Portillo's, you’re truly missing out!

The restaurant felt quite chaotic when we walked in, so I decided to place a to-go order instead. When I got home, I found that the food was all there but unfortunately cold. After heating it up, it was just like any other Portillo's experience—nothing out of the ordinary.

I visited during their peak hours, yet they managed to stay organized and delivered the food promptly.
