Sullivan's Steakhouse - Naperville

First-time visitor, but not the last! Steaks were top-rate, and drinks were generously poured. Could hold a conversation amongst our group with ease. Staff was attentive and timely, and the appetizers were also very good, I love Oysters Rockefeller, and they are fantastic here, but hold off on the Brussel Sprouts, they were very shaved and kind of dry. This is not a cheap date place, nor should it be. I am adding this to my carousel of fine dining.

The prices of Sullivan’s matches prices of RPM steak, STK and other high-end steakhouses one can find in Chicago. However the quality absolutely doesn’t match the price tag — slash the prices in half and that may reflect the quality of food. $250 worth of takeout mostly went in the trash. We dined there for my 51st bday. I made the reservations via the app OpenTable and a day before, a staff member called to confirm. Upon arrival, the hostess did not have the correct time, making it appear as if I was 45m min late, this was awkward, but nonetheless we were seated about 10 minutes later. Porterhouse was huge and cooked perfectly medium. Got the mushroom side dish which was delicious. Moscow mule in a copper mug accompanied the meal.

Great food, great service. Ate at the bar and Lucas was great.
