Café Tennyson Bistro - Napier

Lovely, busy cafe with seating outside, inside and upstairs on a mezzanine floor. We ordered breakfast here as part of our weekend package at The County Hotel Napier. Our food arrived in good time considering how busy they were and were of generous portions. They have available bottled chilli oil which hubby enjoyed splashing over his avocado halloumi meal. The staff were friendly efficient.

I dined here alone and had the pasta of the day, which was spinach ricotta ravioli. It was absolutely delicious! I also enjoyed the tiramisu and a coffee. I have to mention my charming waiter, who made me feel like I was the only person in the room during our conversation. I highly recommend this place!

We had breakfast here and was served by Lilly, and have to say this was the best breakfast experience we’ve had. Lilly was so friendly and warm, hearing her engage with other customers was delightful in all her interactions. The food and iced coffees we had were delicious! This will definitely be our new regular breakfast spot

Have been here recently for both coffee during the day and also for dinner at night time. The food and coffees we got during the day were really nice! For dinner, the Ravioli of the day (which was spinach and ricotta) was so delicious! The pizza we got was also really lovely! Would recommend

This is an excellent spot for breakfast in Napier. I brought my family, including a baby and a toddler, and we had a wonderful experience. Lily was welcoming and friendly to all her customers. The eggs Benedict were delicious, and the food from the cabinet was equally impressive. I would definitely return if I'm ever in Napier again!
