Actually, I feel like you weren't at napier until you were at hot chick cool cat. that's great. it's grill chicken, what shouldn't like? the chips are also beautiful. forget the rest. not because it's not good, I don't really know because it costs too much of an opportunity to try something else on the menu! I usually go for a whole hunch and a chip, so I'll have food later. it is also on property of spriggs park. come for the art deco, stay for the grill chicken, I say. and as a wise jingle once said: there is a hot, hot cist and a cool, cool cat, on the beach, on the sea in the sun. it is the hot chick the cool cat, and these people, that is.
Great front of the house staff manager. animated, friendly team of young employees, appreciated their positive interactions and carefree. the food was also delicious.
The first time in napier and friends brought us here. huh is a must try *ofcourse,! very juicy, tender and not excessively dry, but could benefit for a little roast! the kumara and the kartoffels are chewing gum, gravy might need a bit of salt and pfeffer. chips are salted and crisp, loved to be honest! (I hate soggy! the price is appropriate for the portion size, the personal pick up, the waiting time is okay is it was a busy moment when we arrived, but waited for about 5mins before our food was served (nounces the fact that our group was a great.) .
Excellent chicken and yummy ice creams. Did have to wait a little bit but the customer service was good. They where quite busy..but damn the is so good...
Service was slow, struggled to understand what the Indian lady was saying. Her English behind her mask was difficult to understand. I asked for my whole chicken to be cut into 8 pieces, fail , they cut it into quarters. Need to sharpen up there services, lots of tables had dirty trays and boxes attracting the birds to feed off them. Not a good look or experience today for this iconic business I am a local and disappointed.
