Not sure where the people who gave these low reviews, our experience was first advice. eating is excellent in hawke’s bay, great ingredients, original concepts and beautifully prepared and presented. in the rule a booking at a popular place like this is a good idea and if they haven't booked, they make sure that someone's attention once they don't get difficult. also the menu is really very simple and not so different when we had lunch here 8 and 12 months ago. if you're a food, that's the place you're going to.
The tasting menu declares that the team is friendly and not disappointed. this weingut offers an absolutely chilled, warm and welcoming atmosphere. we enjoyed our time weinverkostung at te awa not only because of the beautiful environment among the trees, but also because of the down to erde team that felt very welcome to us. highly recommended to come here as part of their wine tasting tour of hawkes bay. ps the wine selection is wide and tastes amazing.
Beautiful place, great eating and the most hospitable staff fantastic!
Went here again last weekend. As usual, the food and service was phenomenal. They had a wedding starting later in the afternoon but all was made clear when we booked and when we arrived. The menu follows a constant sharing plates formula but always with a few exciting seasonal twists. It's a joy to eat here and the charcoal ribeye with smoked bone marrow was to die for.
