Giovanni Ristorante Bar Italiano

Wow, what a great find. We read some reviews about the expensive priced restaurants and they were not great. Then went to the moderately priced ones and saw Giovanni and decided to give them a try and were very satisfied. Portions were more than ample. Price, wine list, and service were just as good. Definitely a place to come back to.

Great pizza and wonderful food, nice LOCAL place. A must go in Naples.

We visited the night before our anniversary. Had read about Giovanni 's, I called and Patty, the mgr answered and was so friendly as well as helpful, we decided to try. What a wonderful experience! The Combombinozione (sp? , every imaginable seafood on pasta in a wonderful sauce was to die for . My wife had a terrific chicken and pasta dish she loved! When they found out about our anniversary, they presented us with an unbelievable white chocolate heart, filled with sorbet!! If you miss it, you 'll never know what you missed. The combination of their customer oriented attitude and the fabulous food is what you always hope for but seldom find! Try it!

Good food. Their garlic rolls are to die for. Only wine service. Nice atmosphere.

I've been to this restaurant several times and have never been disappointed. Their sauce is always fresh and tastes truly Italian. The last time I went, I had the breaded veal and it was the best I've had at any restaurant. I've also had their pizza several times and it's delicious. It will make you swear off all the others. If you're in Naples and you enjoy Italian food, definitely stop at Giavanni.
