A few minutes later someone showed up and began to open, and he told me that they don 't open until 11 AM (what 's the point in listing your hours on the web site, one wonders? . I ran an errand and came back at 11, but they were still not open. I sat outside until 11:20 when the guy who I 'd spoken to earlier finally unlocked the door and opened. I spoke to the manager to let him know the web site was incorrect, and he couldn 't care less. One would think that being kept waiting for so long would merit an offer of free baklava at least. I ordered takeout for 4 people and drove home. When we finally sat down to eat we found that one of our items was missing. I called the restaurant to make sure that at least I wasn 't billed for the item. I was told I could come back (a 15 minute drive and they would take care of me. I was about to explain that I just wanted the item taken off my credit card bill, when the person hung up on me. I called again and spoke to the manager, and had to hassle him to get the item removed from my bill. All said, the food is excellent. It 's a good thing, too, because otherwise the terrible service would surely drive them out of business.
I had a delicious well prepared meal here with our party of 4 in February and I intend to return next time I visit the SW Florida area. Only thing I did not like was the Grape leaves ...All the Pita items and the spanokopita (sp) as well as the soup and salads were very good.
I am Greek and if they are passing this food as real Greek food they have you all fooled. The owners are not Greek nor do they know real Greek cuisine. What a grand disappointment. I would never ever go back and never recommend. EXTREMELY OVER PRICED!!! HORRIBLE!
I went to Naples, FL and my mom and I didn't know what restaurant to eat at. Then I decided to try Greek Gourmet, not expecting anything that great. But then I tried their shrimp, pita bread, Baklava for dessert, and lots of delicious food. I strongly suggest you should try this out-of-this-world place!
Average food. Gyro meat was too salty. Tzatziki lacked something. The pita was good, tomatoes fresh, but needed lettuce. Terrible service. We sat ourselves, got our own menus, and weren 't acknowledged for at least ten minutes if not more. We were asked ready. The waiter didn 't say more than five words to us the whole time and I had to stare him down to get him to come over to refill our drinks. The tables were cleared but not cleaned. I will never go back there again and recommend any one contemplating this, STAY AWAY.
