Lucky Dawgs 2 - Naples

I tried several dishes at this restaurant. The chili cheese dog was quite good, and the sliced beef in the homemade Italian beef was outstanding. The owner may not speak perfect English, but he was able to communicate well and was very friendly. I’m not sure why some people enjoy the food but have issues with the owner. While it may not be five-star dining—since I reserve that rating for truly exceptional experiences—this place is a burger and hotdog joint; it's literally a hole-in-the-wall. So, although it might not be the best food in town, if you’re looking for a solid burger and hotdog spot, I don't think you could ask for more than what this place offers. Unless, of course, you want a teenager on roller skates taking your order!

The hotdog itself was not the best tasting hot dog. It tasted like a low-quality hot dog that was just boiled in water.

I want to preface this by saying that I have been coming here for a long time with my dad before he passed away, and today I was really craving a double burger and a regular hamburger. On March 18th, 2023, between 4:00 PM and 4:20 PM, I spoke with the staff member and clearly communicated that I wanted a double burger with everything on it, along with a regular hamburger. He confirmed what I wanted and I said yes. I was very disappointed with my order. At the time, I was the only customer there, except for another gentleman who was on the phone.
