Waited 42 minutes for my steak and the place was empty. But in all fairness the owner comped my entire meal except for drinks
Super good food and service loved the filet of course
It has been quite a few years since I have been to outback steakhouse. The place wasn't very busy for a Friday, which is unusual for Florida during season. The can be a tell sign of food or service. People greeting you at the door were nice and professional, especially the guy opening the door for everyone. The place was nice and clean. Our Waitress was decent. She was even honest about the cooks and equipment. I ordered a steak and she asked me how I like it. I asked her how good the cook was because I liked my steak med/rare -med. She admitted they use some sort of grill (kinda sounded like a George Foreman grill) that has a timer and tends to not cook to specifications. Yes she was right when i received my steak, it was closer to rare. The steak was good and seasoned well but I couldn't eat it all because the closer I got to the bone the more raw it got. The place wasn't that busy and the times between when she checked on us were quit long, only something in would expect during really busy times. I could also hear light screams and laughing screwing around in the kitchen which I'm sure contributed to her lengthy between times. Not so professional. My wife ordered a different cut of steak and hers was closer to the way she wanted it cooked. She has green beans that were undercooked. Overall I would give my experience a C+. Maybe if it were another night might have been better. But at the price we paid for our meal, C+ rating wouldn't bring me back.
The bone in Ribeye was Gr8 and our server,Anastasia was awesome.
