You absolutely have to try the pastrami sandwich on rye when you stop by—it's delicious! The only drawback is that they only accept cash, but the sandwich is definitely worth it. We're so glad we discovered Pastrami Dan's!
I ordered a sandwich to go and found it to be a bit pricey—$18 for a pastrami sandwich. With two iced teas, the total came to $28, which I think is quite steep.
Visiting family on Naples...stopped here and have one of the best roast beef sandwiches ever had..n I lived in Brooklyn n NYC...try it!!
The pastrami and roast beef are outstanding. Owners and employees make a memorable experience.
After reading the reviews, I'm relieved I didn't come across anyone comparing this place to Katz or any other New York City deli. Since I'm a big fan of pastrami, I decided to give it a shot. The service was very friendly, but the atmosphere was rather unimpressive. That didn't really bother me. However, I forked out $25 for a pastrami sandwich—no drink, no fries. All I received was a side of coleslaw and Russian dressing because I asked for it "New York style." The pastrami was incredibly cheap and quite meager in portion. It seemed like it was shaved rather than properly piled. I paid New York prices for a sandwich that reminded me more of an Arby's roast beef offering. Anyone who can compare this to New York deli standards should definitely be called out. I gave it a 3 because the woman was friendly, and the sandwich tasted decent. But tonight, I'm going online to order 2 pounds of pastrami from Katz!
