Tavern On The Bay - Naples

Tavern on the Bay is the top restaurant and sports bar in Naples, situated right on the water in the scenic downtown area, at the intersection of Goodlette-Frank and US 41. They serve excellent Rum Runners and offer fantastic specials. My favorite is the Monday deal: wings for just 35 cents!

I was charged $20 for frozen drinks, like a Mudslide, and when I reached out to management about it, they were unresponsive. I had a much better drink at Roy's next door for only $8.50. I would not recommend going to Tavern On the Bay; I feel like they are taking advantage of customers.

The cheesesteak is outstanding; I've honestly never been let down by anything I've ordered at this place. It's always a great experience with delicious food.

I feel compelled to share my concerns about the treatment I received from Manager Ron. His confrontational attitude made our interactions uncomfortable, and he seemed offended when I inquired about his decisions. This behavior overshadowed what would have been an otherwise enjoyable evening. Furthermore, I tried to contact General Manager Mike Bono, as I had been instructed to do, and was given his card. However, I have not yet received a response to my email. This lack of communication highlights the need for improvement in how management handles customer relations.

Zero stars for this establishment. When we walked in just minutes after the attempted assassination of former President Trump, there were three TVs broadcasting the news. However, they promptly turned them off, stating that they would not allow politics in their venue, saying it was a directive from the owner. They had a large American flag displayed on the wall, yet they seemed to disregard the significance of being American in that moment. We decided to leave after paying for drinks we didn't consume and giving a tip to the young server. This was not about being political; it was about recognizing a pivotal moment in American history. Instead, this establishment chose to silence it. God bless America, and I pray for our country now and every day.
