Okolona Tavern - Napoleon

On a late Sunday night, there aren't many options available on the drive from Detroit to Indianapolis. Thankfully, Okolona Tavern was open! This small tavern is nestled in a quaint town and is frequented by locals. The atmosphere was simple, but the service was warm and the food was delicious. We shared wings and fries, which were accompanied by a delightful Jack Daniels BBQ sauce, and we also enjoyed a few loaded burgers. The prices were reasonable, making it a perfect stop during our journey.

Exceptional service! The space is well-maintained and the beer is served ice cold. It's very clean and has a charming atmosphere. Don’t miss out on this gem!

We found this little gem by accident. It looked like a small quaint place so we decided to stop. We are so glad we did. The bar was alot bigger than it looked and was clean and bright on the inside. They must be doing something right because it was packed with people and everyone was having a fun time. They have a great food selection and tasty drinks. Their funnel cake fries were so good I had 2 orders! Great staff and alot of fun! Definitely worth the visit!

The wings at this restaurant are amazing! I really love them, even though I don't usually opt for bone-in wings. You definitely have to try the JD Hot flavor! However, I found the burgers to be disappointing—dry and lacking in flavor. I wouldn't recommend them. The seating is limited, and unfortunately, the place is quite dirty. There's a lot of dust and grime on the wall decorations above the tables, which is pretty unappetizing. I wish they would take the time for a thorough cleaning.

The food is excellent, and while you may experience a wait, it is definitely worth it.
