Le Petit Mitron - Narberth

This charming little café is fantastic! They offer a wide variety of pastries and coffee. I tried the eclair and a delightful chocolate layer cake called ‘opera,’ and both were delicious! The eclair was incredibly fresh and light, with just the right amount of filling. While their coffee isn't the best, it's still a decent choice to accompany your snack!

Just added La Petit Merton to my pastry tour of Philly. It’s on GoogleMaps. Delicious pain au chocolate and dough naught filled with caramel. I love the flaky and crunchy crust both pastries have. And they are wonderfully buttery.The shop serves both La Colombe and locally roasted _____ coffee as drip brewed.

It is so rare to find homemade quality muffins made with FRESH blueberries, not dried or previously frozen, and this place has them! Seriously the best blueberry muffin I ever had!!! And omg they sell Herman's coffee! What a welcomed surprise

I've been a loyal customer of Le Petit Mitron for over 20 years, so when I heard there was a new owner, I wasn't sure what to expect. As a fellow business owner, I understand the challenges of taking over a beloved establishment with customers who have high expectations for quality. However, I was genuinely impressed by my experience at Le Petit Mitron today. The new team has beautifully preserved the charm of the previous owners while streamlining the menu, which I really appreciate. In recent years, it felt like there was more focus on quantity than quality, but now the balance feels just right. They’ve even added some outstanding new options—seriously, the Kouign Amann completely amazed me! The croissants are tastier than ever, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. Congratulations to the new owners, and welcome to Narberth!

I used to go to this place (a few years back) and it was one of the best croissants in Philadelphia. However, I went back on Sunday and it was so stale and dry (i almost choked) I had to throw the rest away. Super disappointed since they were once my favorite. Maybe they had an off day, but it was terrible I’ve had better croissants from Costco. Did they change owner?
