Contribuisci feedbackWe enjoyed a good meal here on a quiet Tuesday night. The dining area is inviting and warm and the waitress was attentive and friendly. We chose the duck in a mandarin sauce and ocean trout, finished with plum pudding and brandy sauce (minus any cream or ice cream, which would have completed the dish). The meal was plentiful and enjoyable. The great service of the inn means that you are picked up and delivered back to your accommodation, on call. Thanks for a good night. We recommend a visit.
We had roast lamb, chicken parmigiana and our friends had the seafood platter. Everything tasted amazing.
Easy to find hotel on the way to the snow (Lake Mountain) for one day. Check in via restaurant. Owners / staff were all welcoming, helpful & provided great service. Dinner was very good, seafood tasting platter was a great sharing dish to start, big serves of garlic bread, and mains were a good size. With a sensational lamb & duck dish for adults, and good meal choices for kids, everyone was happy. Furphy on tap. Room was a good size (heater was already on) for a family of 5 with a queen sized adult bed (pretty firm), pull out couch & king single for 3 kids. Has wifi (kids happy), & TV on wall. Bathroom (shower over bath) was clean & recently renovated. Breakfast was included in room price, and everyone was impressed with bacon / eggs / pancakes & coffee / chai latte, etc. Easy & quick. We actually ordered breaky, then went to ski hire place across the car park to pick up boots / toboggons, chains (in need), etc (and a 10% discount), and headed off to LM by 9.30am.
We booked an over night stay on our way to the snow and booked a table in the restaurant too. Staff were very friendly and chatty. Fish tasting platter for two to start and this was perfect, got to mention the scallops as these were superb but the whole platter was great. We both had steak as a main - medium rare, and seiously this was the best steak we have had in a long long time. Perfectly cooked and so tasty - thank you and well done to the chef.
Stopped in on the Sunday of the June long weekend around 1pm the place was busy, ordered food arrived quickly and was some of the best "cheese bread" we have had in recent time's. Only a quick stop and a small order but impressed with the venue, service, prices and food we ordered, Definatley recommend. We enjoyed the sun on the Veranda out front, great spot
