Hey guys...Wd d mood of enjoying authentic misal, I decided to take my trip to d birth place of misal- Nashik Now wenvr u talk about Misal n Nashik, d first thing dat pops up in ur mind is Sadhna Misal; however, I was recommended to try Chaurangi Rassa misal by one of my cousin residing in Nashik !!! Firstly loved d ambience with d ample of space D Misal Plate comprises of sprouts intermixed wd shev, kanda bhajiya, jalebi n as d name suggests a combination of 4 different varieties of Rassa- spicy kolhapuri, kala masala, pudina-palak mix n the show stopper Sweet Rassa!! Cold kandas bhajji( single one) and cold over sweet jalebi was served as accompaniment to a bowl of tasteless misal with two pavs and four watery rassas. Three of these were tasteless one was just about ok. Additional pav was 10 rupees. Did not enjoy at all.

I know I have been missing for quite a long time but I promise to share some more spicy food options for all of you During the 1st May long weekend we planned to go to Nashik for a short 1 day vacation. While hunting down for some authentic maharashtrian cuisine we landed up at Chaurangi Rassa. This one plate consisted of misal, 2 pav, jalebi, curd and Kanda bhaji. Completely worth the money and pure authentic misal. They served it along with 4 rassa or gravies where u can try very spicy, medium spicy, sweet and tangy and make your misal the way you want it. Great option for missal lover.. 4 types of rassa n each has its own taste .. jus luv it .. ambience is not so great. Bt clean n hygienic. N they serve jalebi, kanda bhaji along with it which was tasty too. Very light on pocket. Will definately visit again. Much better option dan over hyped misal places in Nashik.
