Contribuisci feedbackThe only place where this restaurant gets it's points is the ambiance and its cordial and helpful staff. The food here, in my last visit, was terrible. The Hunan Sauce here, is to date, the worst Chinese sauce that I have ever had. When complained to the staff, they were extremely calm and cordial, and noted every of my concerns, and also excluded all of the items I did not like from the menu. For this reason, I haven't went below 2.5, and I sincerely hope that they have improved with time. However, do not try this place out unless you know for sure that they've improved. It might end up being a big disaster for you.
Those who come from Mumbai or make frequent visits to the city are familiar with Moti Mahal and its rich north Indian menu. The location of their Nashik restaurant tells that they definitely want to attract the travellers from Mumbai and cash in the brand name of already established Mumbai eatery. Located along the highway to Mumbai, this restaurant does not disappoint the travellers as well as the nashikites who frequent this place to satiate their cravings for greasy north Indian foods and biryani. A decent place to eat all those cliched makhanis and tikka masalas. Location is not so close to main city people but considering their target audience, works well for them. The ambience is pleasant and service is ok. In all one of the better places in the city for north Indian food.
Had been here on Saturday night. Moti Mahal is the chain of hotels and one is in Mumbai. Ample of parking space and nice restaurant with positive vibe. When we went there was a live concert and the person who was singing had a amazing voice . Nice food with nice song made my evening wonderful. Had Tandoori chicken, Fruit salad and butter chicken with Naan. Will visit here again for Tandoori
Toooooo gooood mouth watering food .. Always a delight Their garlic butter naan two little cute pcs are to die for .. Amazing menu Few dessert options as even rabdi was not available on a Saturday night was a little disappointing but none the less it's always a pleasure being there for meals .. From pomfret fillet tandoori chefs spl to butter chick to mutton curries chick biryani nothing fails to impress great quantity for the offered price .. Mosquitoes is another problem I have faced given it's an Ac resturant can be a but annoying .. Rest it's top Notch????????
11.11.16 19:30hrs I was on a official tour to Nashik.. All Exhausted and agitated after travelling and working for a complete day.. I very much needed a good food with a calm n soothing ambiance to feel alive again.. I was in a cab and talking to the driver about the city.. Driver was talking about trimbakeshwar, Panchavati, ram vanwas and all mythical stories.. My foodie soul eventually started talking about the food and now we are discussing Nashik cha famous #MasalaChivda, #Grapes and how Devine is to visit #SulaWineYards.. Enough of the discussions m hungry nd I asked driver about some good place to go for a dinner.. He suggested few places one of which was moti mahal.. I started searching for reviews over zomato immediately.. Ppl have a mixed feelings about this resto.. Some gave it a big thumbs up some said it is costly and food is just OK.. Even then we started heading up towards Moti mahal.. 10kms of ride from Nashik road finally reached to the restaurant.. Located on a long stretch of Mumbai-Nashik highway.. Its pinpoint location is a HI5 hotel.. Clock was ticking only 7.30 in the evening.. I entered into the resto as a early bird.. Staff did welcome me with a smile on their face.. Big seating arrangement they have... And a long menu to offer.. I did skip on my lunch cz of busy schedule.. My tummy was very much needed atleast a 3-course meal.. Munching over the masala papad I placed an order for Pahadi kebab, Balti murg(Restaurant speciality), Butter Nan and for desserts it was a Brownie with ice cream... Masala papad- Papad was crispy when served, but the masala was in excess, when I say masala I meant the chaat masala used to season the onions n tomatoes over Masala papad.. Pahadi Kebab- This variant of starter is my second most favorite after tandoori chicken.. chicken breasts marinated with green chili paste and some other secret seasonings.. It was tender and cooked to the perfection.. It was a start of feelgood moment of the day.. BaltiMurg & ButterNan- For Main course I did ask help from captain.. He suggested me this dish.. It was a brown coloured gravy and a boneless chicken.. It was not too spicy.. Not too masala.. But tasted good... Best part was the butternan..i don't know what chef did with the dough.. This nan was like fluffy, soft and spongy... Instead of flat, stretchy and rubbery which is usually served at other restaurants.. My dinner does not complete without a sweet bite.. Here comes the dessert, I asked for kulfi falooda.. Unfortunately I got the negative reply.. So ended up ordering Brownie with ice-cream... Nothing to talk much about this cause chef has no chance to do much with this as Brownie, the chocolate sauce and the cheese cherry everything is outsourced.. Only thing I would like to highlight is to put a thin pineapple slice on the sizzling plate and brownie over it.. So that brownie won't burn a lot to give a bitter bites at the end.. Staff is courteous 4/5 Ambience is good 3/5 Food is lovely 4/5 Hygiene in the restaurant 4/5 Value for money 3.5/5
