Amerigo Italian Restaurant - Nashville

We were very impressed by amerigo! very moderately expensive Italian food for quality. (grilled salmon was brilliant and only $12 on early bird menu). the smoked chicken ravioli the woman was fantastic after her. dinner for four and drinks for under $70. highly recommended!

In some way, cooking has made it harder to learn to eat. I'm routinely disappointed. but last night I had a crab tortellini dish, that was one of the best tasting meals I ever had. very robust. I am from the middle west and did not expect good Italian cuisine in tennessee. but it was much better than the memphis bbq in the night before. I never thought this place was a chain. in any case to write something home.

I had the chicken cuto. it was boiled right and had really good taste. service was great and very attentive. I would definitely go back.

We had good food and a great service with taking the hostess who was rude. first impressions are important! we had the chicken piccata and veal marsala. both very good.

Ordered food to go and it was not great. I had a chicken ceaser salad and he had a chicken with angel hair pasta dish. Mine was edible but very meh'. Hardly any dressing, chicken was dry and there was no Parmesan. The pasta was absolutely terrible. The tomato basil cream sauce had zero flavor and the chicken was hard, but warm so it makes me think a microwave was used. So gross. For the price, i expect much better. A salad is hard to mess up in my opinion.
