The best Indian in Nashville. I tried almost the entire Indian restaurant in Nashville, but the best of India is for me. I love her Saturday and Sunday buffet. Great customer service. highly recommended!

Great food!. I stopped for lunch on Friday. Everything was perfect! loved the chicken makhni. The server brought some fresh naan. It was delicious. Service was very attentive. Will be back.

Something happened here. It was empty on Tuesday night. But the food was great! New cook? New owner? Not sure, but it was really fresh and delicious. I eat once a week at Shalimar, and that was all so good at a much better price. Try it. Worth the money.

I share the same sentiments as others—this place lacks curb appeal, as the previous reviewer pointed out, and the surrounding area can feel a bit intimidating. However, their prices are more reasonable than other Indian restaurants, and the quality of the food is decent. It's on par with what I can whip up at home using grocery store ingredients, and I'm fine with that. My experience at the hyped Sitar left me feeling like I overpaid. Though it's not fancy, BOI remains my favorite local Indian restaurant.
