The chicken sandwich was better than expected. And the greens were so good that I was tried to ask for the recipe. The only disappointment was the pumpkin muffins I paid $8 for. A bite, and I immediately knew about the familiar taste of the global food franchise that specializes in bread (which, by the way, costs $ 2 less for the same muffin). It would have been nice to try an authentic muffin in the house. But overall the service was wonderful. I would almost definitely go back to explore their breakfast options.
I kept here in a mood recently and left quite happy. First of all, I appreciate the steps they take during Covid to keep everyone safe while still quality service. As far as the food goes, I got a breakfast biscuit (credible), the cheese steak (very good), and some chickens (solid). For pages I have Mac and cheese, Coleslaw and a bag of chips. The Mac and cheese was okay, it had an interesting taste, but I liked it enough to eat it. Just like the Koleslawin. I thought the breakfast sandwich was incredible. The biscuit was fluffy and crispy on the outside, the egg taste was on the point and the cheese was part of the better vegan cheese I had. The vegan ham was also really good. I did not actually have ham in 20 years, but the taste of vegan ham was what I very vaguely remember actually taste ham like. The cheese steak was also really good. My wife and I are both from Philly, so we judge cheese steaks pretty hard. I'd be a 3.8 out 5. The chicken teeth were good, I liked the spices, but texture was a little strange. They were not really crispy enough for the amount of bread on them. The actual chicken part was dense and the outside was only thick bread. If they were Craspier, they would have been excellent. Everything and everything, I enjoy the food. I'd stop here again. Probably the cookies would stop because they bleed me.
Hands down in the Top 5 vegan restaurants we tried. The hot “chikn” strips were amazing and the sides were exceptional. We had Mac and cheese, beef and beans. I had a chicken fried steak with mushroom engraving that was so good. Had loved some potatoes with mash, but a little point. Even if it was like a 95 degree this day and we sat outside in a sliver of shadow, we didn't want a single bite. A little out of the way, but worth the effort. Almost reason enough to visit Nashville again.
We loved everything! We had: 1.Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich w/Mac cheese 2. Philly cheese steak with beet green 3. Tuna (Chickpea) melt with Cole Slav 4. Chicken and Gravy with another Mac 5. We came to this place to try a vegan Nashville Hot and it was not disappointed. I enjoyed it thoroughly, but it was too sharp for my wife to enjoy more than one bite or two. The Mac and the cheese were the best I ever had and the Phillie was just perfect.
There’s nothing better than getting the authentic local food experience in vegan form. We got the patty melt with a side of baked beans, hot chicken burger with a side of the mac, and a açaí matcha smoothie for $36 with tip and tax included. Yum, yum, yum. I definitely felt like we can leave Nashville saying we experienced some dope hot chicken. The patty melt had a thick cut of seitan and we got the smoked gouda cheese. Sides were delicious and smoothie was great as well. I only have positive things to say. Would recommend and would go back just to try everything else on the menu. There are two parks super close by to take your food to, which we did and it made the perfect picnic date (since it’s takeout only right now)
