Due to Covid-19 precautions, we appreciated that the hot pot ingredients were individually wrapped in plastic and served in small portions. We tried the spicy hot pot and found it to be absolutely delicious and very spicy!
Shabu Shabu is a delightful and unique dining experience that offers a combination of elements from The Melting Pot, a sushi conveyor belt, and a ramen shop. The restaurant is filled with a sensory overload of sights, sounds, and smells. Each table is equipped with a hot pot filled with broth (available in various flavors) that is kept at a consistent hot temperature. Diners can add their choice of meats, vegetables, and noodles to the pot. The restaurant also features a buffet-style counter where patrons can find refrigerated ingredients, fresh fruit, sweets, pre-made sushi, and create their own sauces. Guests can also pick up carbs and vegetables from a conveyor belt that runs throughout the restaurant. During our visit, we tried the miso and tonkatsu broth. While the tonkatsu broth was somewhat bland, the miso broth was delicious. We also enjoyed the Shabu Shabu experience of grilling thin slices of meat at our table, which was definitely worth the extra cost. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience and we look forward to returning in the future.
I am a huge fan of Shabu Shabu and I have tried many restaurants across the USA due to my job. This particular restaurant is one of my favorites. The prices are reasonable and the selection is extensive. I love it! The staff is friendly and the option to grill and hotpot at the same table is a unique experience that I have not encountered before. This has quickly become one of my top local restaurants.
Very hip, laid back place with good vibes and lively energy. Reservations only for 6 or more so expect a little wait. We were told 35 minutes but it was more like 20 (On a Sunday night). Individual hotpots with choice of 7 different broths, shared grill tables. Veggies and noodles track through the place on a conveyor belt, salad bar-style layout with meat and seafood, etc. Plus fresh fruit, edamame, and some sushi. Cook at your table, order a sake, a cold beer, or a bubble tea. Great place to take friends for a relaxed but fun night out.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian broth options, plenty of tofu and veggies available
Went for hot pot and it was very good. My only criticism is that their sides were pretty limited compared to other places I've been to. Well worth it though.
