Sunflower Bakehouse - Nashville

This amazing gluten-free bakery is the sister store of Sunflower Cafe in Hermitage. The scone I had was so delicious that I finished it before I even realized it! I picked up several items for breakfast throughout the week, including biscuits, blueberry muffins, and a smoothie, all of which were fantastic. It's truly a dream restaurant for anyone with celiac disease.

This is one of my favorite spots for vegan lunch, dinner, or anything your vegan heart longs for! I couldn’t resist trying the Diner Burger, a half portion of the Thai Noodle Salad, and the Carrot Cake Cupcake. The Sunflower Bakehouse completely satisfied my cravings. Traveling with celiac disease can be challenging and stressful, but when we visited Nashville and had breakfast here, I was genuinely overwhelmed with happiness! The breakfast biscuit was incredible! We also tried the blueberry muffin and two cupcakes. It felt like all my gluten-free dreams came true. Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free.

The food, service, and atmosphere at this restaurant are fantastic! The dishes are both tasty and nutritious. The staff is incredibly kind and friendly. I really enjoy coming here, especially when I have a vegetarian or vegan friend or family member with me. Although I haven't tried everything on the menu yet, the items I've sampled have been absolutely delicious!

I really appreciate that all their desserts are vegan and gluten-free. My favorite was definitely the banana nut muffin! I also tried the lemon cupcake, blueberry crumble muffin, and the carrot cake muffin. I ordered the Sunflower Cali sandwich, and it was delicious! I was pleasantly surprised that the bread didn’t taste gluten-free at all; it had a great texture. I also sampled the macaroni and cheese. While it wasn’t my favorite, it was still decent, but I probably wouldn’t order it again.
