The Hot Rod Grille - Nashville

I went in with low expectations based on other reviews, but I ended up really enjoying my experience! The food was served hot, and the waitress was very attentive, perhaps because the restaurant was almost empty on Monday afternoon. We ordered smoked wings, chicken nachos, and mac and cheese. The wings had a great smoky flavor, and we tried two different sauces: the hottest one they offer, sweet chili, and a hot dry rub. The mac and cheese tasted like pimento cheese, and the bacon was a nice touch. I also enjoyed the beer specials, particularly the 2-for-1 options and the "big boys." The place has the vibe of a dive bar, making it a perfect setting for a casual meet-up. I definitely recommend checking this place out!

I had a lovely experience at Moonlight and Ghosts! The waitress was friendly and quite helpful. The nachos were decent, and while the Mac n Cheese was excellent, the main dishes left much to be desired. The chicken was dry, the portion sizes felt small, and overall, the main courses were not very appealing.

This restaurant remains open even during the ongoing construction. It seems they will have outdoor seating available once the work is completed. I ordered the thighs accompanied by a generous serving of bacon mac and cheese as a side dish. It was an excellent choice and there was plenty of food. Don’t let the exterior fool you; the inside is worth a visit!

Solid food for a decent price. I expected legs on bone vs pulled chicken. It was quite delicious. Unique topping options to go over the pulled chicken. The potato salad is excellent and you can not beat the 2-1 big guys for $6. I'll be back someday.

This place was a hole in the wall that I’m so glad we tried! Nachos were amazing and the service was awesome! Will definitely make this a stop every time we come to Nashville
