Our favorites were the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich with Mac and cheese, the Philly cheese steak with turnip greens, the Tuna (chickpea) melt with cole slaw, the Chicken and gravy with another serving of Mac, and the Rice crispy treat for dessert. We specifically came here to try the vegan Nashville Hot Chicken and it exceeded our expectations. I loved the spiciness, but my wife found it too hot for her liking. The Mac and cheese was the tastiest I've ever had and the Philly cheese steak was cooked perfectly.
I stopped by this restaurant on Sunday during Thanksgiving weekend. I typically play it safe when trying new plant-based food places, but I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious chicken sandwich and amazing greens. I even considered asking for the recipe. The only letdown was the $8 pumpkin muffins, which tasted like they came from a popular food franchise that sells bread for $2 less. I wish they had offered a homemade authentic muffin instead. Despite this, the service was excellent and I would definitely return to try their breakfast options.
I had been eager to try this restaurant for years, ever since they were located in their charming little building. I finally had the opportunity to visit last fall, but I was disappointed with the experience. The restaurant had odd hours and we had to order online. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the food. I ordered the chicken tenders and macaroni and cheese with ranch. Everything was overly salty and the ranch dressing had a strange taste that did not resemble traditional ranch dressing. The chicken tenders looked like a solid piece of gluten, more like a flat vegan sausage, and the coating was not crispy but chewy and gummy, as shown in the photos. The macaroni and cheese did not taste like traditional macaroni and cheese and was too salty to continue eating. I'm not sure if it was the staff or the recipes, but this restaurant left me feeling like it was not worth the hype.
Finally! I'm looking for the best heissen huh while in nashville and I finally found it in the southern w! I had the hot chicken sandwich, with green, bean, makkaroni, and also ordered the hunch roasted chicken for later. I thought the hot chicken sandwich was fantastic. just the best I had on this trip. the baked beans were tasty and the greens were ok. I wasn't a fan of makkaroni. the chicken kicked huh tasted good and I enjoyed the heavy. I wish they served breakfast at any time, because I really want to go on a chicken biscuit sandwich and/or waving and
I live in the neighbourhood and I have eaten everything on their menu. that's it. this is the vegan place they are looking for. the taste is top notch and the fried chicken is on point. do not sleep on the burgers, but I am absolutely addicted to their mushroom burger. the nachos are also absolutely delicious.
