Great shop, great atmosphere, great place to sit and have a conversation, the dessert selection is amazing, the biscotti selection even better. The customer service is beautiful, the people who work there are very friendly and beautiful. With that said, the coffee for some reason tastes off, I tried a drink called the red eye and it really tasted off. I then came back another time and tried the Mocha and once again the coffee tasted off. I'm not sure what it is that makes it taste so off, maybe it's the espresso they use. I spoke to the girl who made the drink and she said she doesn't drink coffee. I'm not sure how anyone who makes coffee for a living doesn't know what it's supposed to taste like especially when a customer is saying that it slightly tastes off. Other than that, I did not try their regular coffee or their other offerings of coffee types. Still, it's a beautiful shop to come too, I'll give it another try to see if I can find the drink that's for me, I just don't think I'll try any espresso drink since two tasted off.
Not a $7 cinnamon roll. I’m sure rent is high in their location. So it’s probably more a matter of survival than price gouging.
Seemed like a nice Cafe, but on principle, I won't support businesses that don't show pricing on any items. Gonna make me wait in line to scan fridge items to tell me the price, or once I order a drink to tell me the cost? Nope. Any reasonable business displays pricing. If anything, this slows down the productivity flow when a customer has to ask for cost on every item they're interested in to help determine what they want.
Nice for a coffee or Chai and a quick chat at a conference.
