Calacas Mexican Cuisine

The food was excellent. My fish was flaky and well seasoned. Definitely worth your time for Mexican cuisine.

Off the beaten path and so worth it!! Calacas salad was served tossed in a light citrus dressing. Nice start! Pork Belly tacos served hot and crispy with crunchy pickled onion. They were delicious. Also had the chicken enchiladas with mole. WOW! So good! We were looking for higher end Mexican. Something a little more unique or special. We found it at Calacas!

We are in the area for a business event. We were lucky to stop by here. The best part was Dane our waiter. He made us smile all night. Absolutely amazing guy. We had all had a long day and he made us all relaxed and happy by the end of dinner. Food was good as well but the service was extraordinary! Thank you Dane!

So so good! The environment is modern and sophisticated and food is the same. The chips and salsa were amazing and my pork enchiladas were very good. Even my hubby who struggles with Mexican food loved it!

This is a Nashville win. Great food, location, service, atmosphere. Our server Jeannette was above and beyond in every way. Even brought me out a taste of mole sauce when I mentioned I'd never tried but always wanted to. Also, very insta-worthy spaces around every corner if you like that sort of thing. (See neon lights/signs in the bathrooms). This is a downtown Nashville gem.
