Contribuisci feedbackI’m a Mongolian and sushi connoisseur and this is one of best places I have been. Owner is fantastic. Would 100 percent go back. Live in raleigh but absolutely go back every visit.
Don’t walk, run to this place! And funny be deterred by the appearance, it is a hole in the wall, but usually those are the best places. Seriously the food was fantastic. We ordered Mongolian and a bunch of sushi rolls. My kids were so impressed by the flavors added to their very basic rolls. We will be back for sure!! Our new fav place for sushi!
Amazing. One of the best Nigiri I’ve had even compared to much pricier ones. Wonderful topping selection, great hand technique, and especially awesome cooked fish. Special thanks to the earlier review that said “don’t leave when you first walk in” yes it may not look like a typical sushi restaurant. Absolute highlight of our Nashville trip.
I don’t understand the hype but this restaurant was very slow and expensive for the portions you get. Food was bland and the owner was rude. Wouldn’t recommend at all!!!!!
Please Don't leave when you walk in the door. While the place may not look like a 5-star sushi resturant, it is. This resturant is a gem and totally worth a visit. Chef came from Miami to help a friend open a sushi bar in Nashville. His sushi is top notch. He and I talked about his fish and he showed me some pictures. Why doesn't he do sushi takeout. He says the delivery temp in the car ride ruins the taste of the fish. That Impressed me alot! He said you have to eat sushi fresh, I completely agree. Another thing that impressed me was that he makes his own sauces, including his own soy sauce. Many sushi rolls need soy sauce with some wasabi to give them a bit of juice and salt. Chef makes every roll seasoned perfectly for how he made the roll. Unless he serves it with a sauce, it probably doesn't need it. I have not eat at many of the sushi restaurants in Nashville but this is one of the best ones that I've eaten at anywhere, and I've eaten in Japan. The rolls I had were complex and flavorful. When I say complex, I mean multiple flavors hitting your pallette at different times. Rolls pictured below are the Over the Rainbow roll White snow roll. Thank you Chef for letting me dine in your resturant.
