Retrograde Coffee

Coffee was good, but the food is really expensive for what you got! Unseasoned eggs and about 3 inches of a bfast sandwich on the baguette

I stopped in last Saturday at 15 til close because I was determined to make it in because I just moved to the neighborhood. And the two people behind the counter were extremely attentive and friendly to me. The coffee was great too! I will definitely be back this Saturday.

This coffee shop could have easily been a 5/5 but I’ve some strong reasons for a solid 3.5/5 -0.5) basic: I paid $4.25 for a plain croissant and they had no decent way of heating it up other than putting it in an microwave and making it soggy AF. I don’t have any problems when coffee shops charge you a premium for simple bakery items or coffee, but I do expect a high quality product in those cases. Coffee going steadily downhill, service is rude and obstinate. Used to recommend this place to everybody, esp people travelling from overseas. Won’t be any longer — spend your money at one of the various better options in town.
