Wizard's - Nashwauk

We didn't receive any silverware until after the food was served, and when it arrived, our meals were barely warm. My hot beef sandwich had very little meat, and the gravy was lukewarm as well. My wife's breakfast was also lukewarm and had to be sent back, but when it returned, it was still not any warmer. The iced tea I ordered was so diluted that it had almost no flavor and was served without any ice. When we arrived, there were only three tables occupied in the restaurant. Two couples came in after us and received their food before we did. One of the servers mentioned she wasn't sure if a manager was present, but honestly, they didn’t seem that busy at all. As a gesture, we were offered a 20% discount, which was kind, but it wasn’t enough to compensate for the terrible food and service we experienced. We have no intention of returning to this restaurant. The servers know who we are, and hopefully, they'll implement some much-needed changes. I really don't understand restaurants that serve cold food and expect their patrons to accept and eat it.

The restaurant offers nightly specials. We have sampled the burgers and the all-you-can-eat fish fry on Friday nights, and both were fantastic!

The stuffed hash browns were incredible! I dined in for breakfast and found the service to be excellent. The price per person ranged from $10 to $20. I would rate the food a solid 5 out of 5, along with the service and atmosphere, which also received a 5. I highly recommend trying the stuffed hash browns with egg and gravy!
