Surpassed expectations, each dish was filled with taste and extremely well executed the chicken k for example melted in mouth. the lunch and evening tasting menu is very valuable and was more than enough to satisfy this very hungry diner. highlights were the appetizers and Tandoori dishes (especially the stone-bark,) but the curries were also very good. didn't think I could manage a dessert, but they forced a complementary one to me anyway, as it was my birthday, which was a fantastic note (and absolutely delicious.) the cocktails are worth going to live, even the virgins were great.
I was pleasantly surprised when I picked up my reservation note and found out that they had arranged a complimentary cake dessert for my mother, as we were there to celebrate Mother's Day! She was thrilled. Mateo and the Indian gentleman (I forgot to ask his name, but he served us all night) were delightfully hospitable. Overall, it was a nice experience and the food was incredibly delicious. A truly enjoyable evening! Cheers to the Jamavar team. I will definitely make a reservation again soon!
The dining experience was enjoyable, the restaurant itself was nice and cozy. However, the standout factor was the impeccable service. The staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive to our table and everyone around us. This is the perfect spot for those who love curry. Many thanks for the wonderful service and delicious meal.
Was implored to try this Michelin Star Indian eaterie in Mayfair. Reviews appeared a bit hit and miss. Perservered with my intention of booking a birthday dinner for my 13 year old. Ordered, amoungst other items, soft shelled crab, paneer and butter chicken of which the latter, my son exholted it was the best he ever tried. Service was effecient and attentive. We opted for the ras malai dessert which was a different take on the tradational style. Yes, we would revist, depending on the fact that I wont be paying.
