Dune - Nassau

Dune is a phenomenal restaurant on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. If you’re staying at Atlantis, they have a free shuttle that takes you there. The whole experience was amazing the very friendly staff, breathtaking views and exquisite cuisine (make sure you have the chocolate cookies). It’s not crowded or loud and you never feel like you are getting pushed out to make room for the next group. Angelo, the manager, stopped by to say hi. Israel and Demetri and the other waitstaff (didn’t get their names) couldn’t have been nicer. They made great suggestions and were very attentive and friendly. I’ll definitely go back there the next time I visit. It isn’t cheap, but no more expensive than the high end restaurants at Atlantis and it is well worth the splurge. Thank you to all who made our evening so special.

Dune offers a delightful experience, featuring a lovely dining room with a sea view and a covered terrace. The bar has a 180-degree vista of the ocean and pool area, which is spectacular. While the cocktails are a bit pricey, they are worth it for the quality. The cucumber martini was excellent, as was the espresso martini, and you definitely shouldn’t miss out on trying a Vesper. We also ordered a few items from the bar menu since we wanted to extend our stay, and those did not disappoint. The fried calamari were perfectly cooked, while the truffle pizza had a wonderful combination of flavors—robust but not overwhelming. The starter bread was moist and spongy. Overall, it was a fantastic experience for afternoon cocktails, and I can only imagine that dining at Dune must be just as wonderful. Enjoy!

The food here is outstanding, and the service is impeccable—from the hostesses to the bartenders and waitstaff. We dined here on our first day and ended up coming back every day, sometimes for multiple meals. I highly recommend trying the Sunday brunch buffet; just make sure to arrive hungry!

Excellent quality food and great service. The best culinary experience we had on the Bahamas. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very relaxed- great atmosphere. The staff is very friendly.
