Murrays Deli - Nassau

Ah, they have gluten-free pancakes, but they leave an aftertaste of Pam or olive oil butter, and they seem to have added extra sugar or something. I did enjoy the eggs I ordered, though. Unfortunately, they were unable to prepare speck for me. For lunch, I tried to order a sandwich and asked if they had gluten-free bread. I was told, "We only have it for breakfast." I didn't bother arguing since it's not worth risking getting sick. It really feels like a challenge to find gluten-free options here at Atlantis.

The chef immediately approached our table when we mentioned food allergies. She personally prepared our meals and even made a batch of gluten-free pancakes for my wife. I ordered vulture, toast, hausfritten, and speck. They even have a separate pan for making the toast and will prepare the hausfritten separately with olive oil if needed.

I had the pastrami on gluten-free bread, and I also ordered a roasted turkey sandwich to go, also on gluten-free bread. Both were of good quality. However, the fries are not gluten-free since they do not use dedicated fryers.

They had the chef come out to the table to tell me the gluten free options. They have gluten free bread. I had a club sandwich. She made my fries separately, hand cut and fried in olive oil. Overall very good.

Murray #039;s Deli was able to provide a delicious gluten free dinner breakfast for my daughter who has Celiac disease. The chef came out to speak to us explained what was available. We tested the food for added measure with the Nima) there was no gluten detected.
