Phoenix Chinese - Nassau

Overall, it was quite good considering it's in the Bahamas, where Chinese ingredients are limited. We tried the chicken wings, beef chow fun, and chicken and broccoli, and we finished everything, feeling very satisfied with this refreshing change from the usual local meals. After all, I can only eat so much conch salad and fried snapper!

I wasn't accustomed to searching for a restaurant at this time, especially after 6 PM, but I wanted to find one that wasn't too mainstream. I discovered this place, which stays open until 11 o'clock, so we decided to give it a try. Upon arrival, we asked the owner if we could come in. He seemed a bit hesitant but ultimately allowed us in. He recommended the freshly steamed fish, which I believe was red snapper. We also ordered a tofu dish and a sweet plate, asking for light salt on both. Both dishes were incredibly authentic and brought us great joy. The restaurant had a lot of takeout orders for egg rolls, so the owner was quite busy, which made the service a little slow. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience that reminded us of a genuine Chinese restaurant we would visit back home.

When our food arrived, it was piping hot, so we had to be careful not to burn ourselves, but this was a good sign that the meals were freshly prepared. It’s always nice to enjoy hot food. Everything we tried was delicious, and the portion sizes were generous, ensuring everyone left satisfied. I highly recommend the garlic honey wings—they were outstanding!

Great tasting food. Friendly staff. Of course chinese food is always kind of salty and oily. They have variety of food to choose from. Personally I like their friend rice and chicken. They serve alcoholic beverage also. Mostly they are busy especially with cruise ships around. One important note please double check your receipts before billing out. It happens to my experience(s) with food items included in the receipt which we did not order. Please please. You're paying enough for tax and grats but the food is amazing. I would still recommend this place. Oh, they have wi-fi also for free. Just check with the staff for the password
