Conveniently located near the Ritz Carlton and Omni hotels in the same shopping center as Harris Teeter and Amelia Liquors. We had the banana waffles, fried chicken biscuit, and some fried green tomatoes. The chicken was fried perfectly and the biscuit was not too hard. It had a pecan syrup on it which was okay. I would have preferred some sort of bacon jam or bacon jalapeno jam on it ?. Be prepared for sticky fingers if you use your hands to eat the biscuit. We would definitely get the banana waffles next time for sure. All in all we had a good brunch and will definitely try it again soon.
The server who helped me was very kind and knowledgeable. I was on a time limit so I ordered to go and sat on the patio which was an odd request but she was nice about it! The fried chicken sandwich and fries I got were very good. Personally, I did not like the aesthetic of the restaurant, but the food and service were great.
We were up on Fernandina for the afternoon. Plans fell through and we were hungry. We saw Bantam and Biddy on Maps and it had his reviews so we decided to check it out. Best thing we did all day!The staff was very friendly. The restaurant is clean and inviting. The food, though. The food is incredible. Normally I'm not a fan of chicken tenders, especially gluten free anything. If they hadn't told me they were gluten free I'd never have known. So juicy and the breading was perfectly seasoned and crunchy. We will definitely be back when though it's a 45 min drive.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free fryer.
We had a nice, quiet breakfast on the patio. Good food, reasonably priced. I'm surprised it wasn't busier. The grits were the best I've had outside my own kitchen in ages! And the French toast were yummy.
Great gem tucked away in a shopping center. Absolutely spectacular breakfast and brunch menus. I had the Southern Breakfast and devoured the eggs, bacon, cheese grits and fried okra. The pepper cornbread with pimento cheese hit the spot. My have had the waffle with pecans and banana. Wow! Good coffee and fresh OJ. Dine inside or out. Don't miss this place. Worth the wait.
