Mi Tierra Super Taco - National City

The tacos were excellent and extremely affordable. I highly recommend the carnitas from this place. Additionally, the woman working there was very friendly and accommodating.

The food remains excellent after nearly 40 years, although the portion sizes have decreased and prices have increased. Expect busy weekend crowds and a wait time of about 30 minutes. If the parking lot is full (as it's shared with Der Wienerschnitzel), I'll choose to go elsewhere.

I decided to drop by on a whim after doing a quick Google search and sorting by ratings. It felt like my mom had prepared the meal for me—the service was excellent, the beans were delicious, and the tortillas were top-notch, just as the other reviews mentioned. Mission accomplished! We'll definitely be returning.

The food was good but average(sopes). Would I go back yes but will I drive out of the way no.
