Not Your Momma's - National City

This restaurant is fantastic! You won't be let down! Everything on the menu is delicious, from the birria to the pancakes. They may be simple dishes, but they're definitely packed with flavor! My kids, who are usually picky eaters, enjoyed everything as well. A big thank you to the chef and staff for their warm hospitality. We had a wonderful time here. I really hope they stay in business, as this is a family-owned veteran establishment. Please come out to support our veterans and enjoy a meal here!

I was heading to Aunt Emma for breakfast, but fortunately, they were only offering takeout. I had heard about this new place on the radio and decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did—it was a fantastic breakfast! I've found my new go-to spot for morning meals.

The owner was spot on! This place has the best biscuits and gravy this side of the Mississippi! I enjoyed every aspect of the restaurant, from the moment I walked in until the last bite. I can't wait to come back soon!

The menudo was absolutely delicious. Better than anywhere else in San Diego County. And I've tried dozens! The owner is a talented and principled chef. I'm looking forward to ordering again while I'm still in the state. They don't have this in Nevada.

The food was very delicious and just the environment of the establishment was enjoyable to me. The two employees who were working, I think one was the owner, were very welcoming. I will definitely be revisiting this amazing place.
