Original Richard's Bakery

I contacted Original Richard to arrange two jobs. One was to apply a skim coat on an interior wall where a doorway had been closed, and the other involved a similar task on an exterior wall where a door had been sealed. Both jobs turned out beautifully. The contractor from Original Richard did an excellent job coordinating the surrounding areas, especially since the exterior wall had a textured stucco finish. They completed everything in just one day. The pricing was very reasonable too! Thank you, Steve and Chris! I’ll reach out again for any future projects.

I hired Original Richard to work on my apartment, and I was very disappointed with the results. The worst part was that the owner refused to do anything to rectify the situation. I spent thousands of dollars on their services, and now I'm constantly reminded of their poor workmanship every day. I cannot recommend them.

I’m pleased to report that they sent a professional, hardworking, and honest team of two painters. They painted six doors, hall cabinets, all the trim, wainscoting, and the ceiling. They did a fantastic job!

I hired a painter for a day because I had several small jobs to finish. I delivered the color. They showed up on time and gave me an 8-hour working day. I made it clear that I expected a full working day for a 1 day painter fee. I recommend you to make your expectations known beforehand to avoid misunderstandings. That was the third time I hired her to work. I would recommend you whatever size job. The whole work I had is painting in the house. Can not be offered for any of its other services.

I was debating between 4 stars and 5 stars (since there is no 4.5 stars but the work that Original Richard did for us was good overall and most lingering issues have been addressed. Lessee, first they installed lights and left without adding the trims so I had to call them a few days later to get them since I wasn 't liking the 'exposed wires ' look--but the lights look great now. They scraped the popcorn ceiling downstairs and it looks really nice now. (When we get the funds, we 'll get the upstairs scraped too. They painted all the interior walls...oh wait, no, they didn 't: somehow the laundry room got left off the to-do list and we didn 't notice so they didn 't paint it, apparently assuming that I wanted all but one room of the house freshly painted. (Not sure why they 'd think that but oh well! I also didn 't notice that doors were not included so our walls are looking good but our doors...not so much. And the painters apparently weren 't sure if they could unplug a sensor and timer we had so consequently they painted around them, leaving a small patch of old-paint wall under each socket. And a few places where color paint met white, the border was uneven. These were relatively minor issues but I thought they could have been easily avoided using common sense and a cell phone. HOWEVER, they DID send a worker to come back to paint the laundry room for free and fix one of the old-paint spots. Things are not perfect but thank you, Jacky and Steve and the rest of the crew, for all that you did to beautify our house.
