Unfortunately, today it arrived soggy and cold, which seems unlikely unless the driver was eating it for some unknown reason. On top of that, it was also 20 minutes late.
I really dislike the call center aspect of ordering from Papa John's. I understand the intention is to improve order accuracy, as someone in a cubicle can hear you better than staff in a bustling kitchen, but it can be frustrating. When discussing specials, the call center representative mentioned that the best deal for a large one-topping pizza was $8.99, so I ordered pepperoni. Meanwhile, they quoted $17.99 for a large two-topping pizza. A few black olives aren't worth a $9 difference. Upon entering the store, I noticed a sign advertising a large two-topping pizza for $7.99. That's only a $10 difference from what the call center quoted! They did adjust the price when I mentioned it, but they still missed adding one of my toppings. While it's not a huge inconvenience, it would be beneficial if the call center was aware of in-store specials. Moreover, when I call a specific location, I shouldn't have to answer so many questions. The delay for accuracy ends up being more of a hassle than it's worth. Should I continue ordering through the call center or switch to a different pizza place? I'd prefer not to go to the store and wait indefinitely for my food. No thanks!
First time in 15 years since I ordered Papa John's. I must say I was very impressed. The pizza quality has changed. The dough was very tasty and the sauce was flavorful. I really enjoyed my experience and will be ordering again. I ordered 4 differenttypes ot pizzas which all came very hott and fresh. Very satisfied with my experience. Well done Papa Johns.
I ordered two pepperoni pizzas, but right after I hung up, I realized I wanted to change one of the toppings. When I called back, I was put on hold and discovered I was speaking to a call center. They transferred me to the restaurant, but the phone rang twenty times without anyone answering. I decided to go to the restaurant in person and informed them that no one was answering the calls. The staff member responded, "Oh, I was super busy and couldn't pick up the phone." I was confused as to why they would be too busy to answer calls when they have a call center handling orders. It’s absolutely ridiculous!
It had been 15 years since I last ordered from Papa John's, and I must say I was genuinely impressed. The quality of the pizza has definitely improved. The dough was delicious, and the sauce was flavorful. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and will definitely be ordering again. I tried four different types of pizzas, and they all arrived hot and fresh. I'm very satisfied with my experience. Great job, Papa John's!
