They weren 't busy at all and took longer than expected to make a drink. Also, the prices do not match on the receipt and menu. When I asked why, it 's because they said it would be extra for the brown sugar boba . On the menu- no where does it say toppings are extra . I hate giving anyone a hard time especially if they didn 't create the menu so we just left with our drinks. As we were stirring our drinks, thinking it was going to taste better, it just wasn 't tasty. It was actually disgusting. 2 out of the 3 drinks had a fishy taste to it. I 'm ONLY assuming because they sell other stuff like pho (soups). We all had drank about a quarter of it and threw it away. No we didn 't return to get our money back.. we just went to get us another drink somewhere else. I was hoping to talk to someone mature like a manager or the owner but there wasn 't anyone there besides 3 girls just doing their jobs.
I wish I had pictures! This place was too good I started eating right away! I had the chicken pho and a thai tea with the brown sugar boba. The pho was amazing and full of flavor, tha thai tea was perfect and you can taste the natural spice. I am not even a big fan of boba in my drink but I really enjoyed it here. They make the boba from scratch, which is probably why its so delicious. Service was great, all the employees were so nice and helpful. Definitely my new go to in the mall!
Worst pho I’ve had in my life. Brisket was inedible harder than the soles of my shoes the meat was very old and the broth tasted like urine. Horrible. I ate at plaza cholita [bonita] location. Never again, nasty meal
Great food! My only complaint is that when it's busy, ordering for pick up is easier than ordering in person.
I asked for a tai tea, but I think I actually got milk tea. The tea tasted like tap water. This was my first time trying Poppy Kitchen, so I don’t know if this is how their milk tea usually tastes; I hope not!
