Good set lunch menu. Great value

Only 1 well-deserved star: we were there yesterday noon at 12:50 p.m. I come in, and the waitress (unfriendly) tells me that it is full, even though a table is free (there are just the coffee cups to clear). I come out and go to the bakery next door to buy 2 sandwiches (for my husband and me), and we eat them outside (it's 7 degrees, fog and a little rain) in the shelter in front of the restaurant. 2 men pass by in artisan outfits, they wish us “bon appetit”, they come in to ask, and the waitress accepts them. They come out telling us that she accepted them. I am 64 years old and my husband is 68 years old..... We often stop in the morning to drink coffee when we go to Laguiole...... believe me that we will be able to tell the boss..... who is very friendly. Yesterday's menu: Mixed salad, marengo veal. The single star is justified by the metal structure which makes the place original...... but in no case for the restaurant itself. Go on your way........ the catering is in lack of staff, but PLEASE, don't hire incompetent people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Daily menu at €14.50, very fair value for money (starter, main course, dessert, coffee, a little wine) The employees very helpful. Very good, I recommend!
