I've been there a lot. Always good service. Can't wait to go fishing again and finish my day with a beer and a burger from The Sportsman.
A hidden jewel! If you haven't tried these guys yet, it's a certain must. The Brooklyn OG is so perfect. The hot dogs, perpetrators, maize fritters are also necessary. Plus super friendly staff working there.
Great place to stop after fishing!! We loved the chickens fried steak, nachos, green chili cheeseries and margaritas. I'll stop in town next time.
I’ve been coming here for 15+ years, year over year, and it just keeps getting better. Clean. Exceptional food. Cold beer. Terrific (if irreverent at appropriate times) service. This might be the last great roadhouse in NorthAmerica. It is precious and you should thank your lucky stars to set foot inside. Get thee to the Sportsman.
