I have passed by this food truck many times wondering about it and I finally caught them open one Saturday morning. They were very friendly and people seem to really like the food, but I just thought it was okay.As someone stated on another review, I too thought the lumpia was really small and a little too salty for me. The pancit was bland and the pork skewers had quite a bit of fat on them (but they were good).Maybe it is as someone else stated that different people cook Filipino food differently, and that could be the case but it just wasn't what I was expecting it to be.
This place is straight amazing! I wish they were open more often or longer hours. I live the lumpia and the pork skewers. The food is good for the money and so is the portion.
Lumpia is a very small deep fried spring roll. They're deliciuous here order lots!!! I dip the heck out of them in the sweet/chili sauce. Their pancit is very delicate rice noodles with some small cut up veggies. As the other review said, it's a little plain but get some extra sweet/chili sauce and they become delicious. The bbq pork skewer is fine but I really like the chicken adobo. It's a good sized chicken leg in a very soy forward marinade. I'd get it again for sure. The white rice has a nice drizzle of sauce. My wife ate it all : Ask for extra sauce. Definitely give them a try. Support small business!
Great food and service! 5 stars on that. However, i think they should open at least until 5pm so people like me can order and pick up the food after working.
