Cowtalk Steakhouse - Navasota

Took forever for the waitstaff to tell us we could sit anywhere. Staff was complaining about wanting to leave before the next rush we were there at 530 on a Sat night. Food was bad. My hamburger steak was bland mashed potatoes had hard uncooked lumpy chunks in it. Brown gravy was watery. Salad was good. Husband said his 8oz sirloin was ok baked potato was ok.

They employee was so nice and welcoming the moment I walked inside that I could smell all the great food coming out of the back kitchen. They don't have anything super duper fancy, but they got just enough to make me wanna come back.

Great wait, staff! The food was delicious. We came during noon rush hour but were able to grab a table. Great hometown feeling with nice sized portioned meals. We'll definitely return.
