Denny's - Navy Yard City

When it's busy they don't bring your whole order and you'll have to go to the counter to ask for it. Then when it arrives they toss it on the table and ignore the dirty dishes from the rest of your meal that you ate while waiting, leaving you to deal with the dishes while you try to eat the rest of your order.

Ordered broccoli as one of my sides, very skimpy on the portions.

Where I grew up Denny’s wasn’t a place you went for a peaceful meal. It was loud and dirty but that was years ago in a place far far away. This being a national chain known for cheap eats, I can only let me self give it a maximum of 3 Stars. That’s average on the scale, which isn’t a bad thing. They were friendly here and the food was good. It’s not a fancy place but it doesn’t need to be to get the job done. I’m giving it a 100% for what it is, a national chain. I have been to worse and this place seemed clean, friendly and not loud. That’s a great thing. Also it’s been months maybe a year since I have had a steak. ? Good job ever if it’s not a steak place. If it was a high end steak place then the grade would have been different but it was good. How do you like your steak done?

My son ordered the lumberjack with scrambled eggs and chocolate chips added to the pancakes. I ordered the classic Benny breakfast. The hashbrowns on both weren't crispy even slightly and had an oily taste to them.
