Naxian Capriccio - Naxos

I tried the yemista, which was stuffed peppers and tomatoes. It was excellent and served with potatoes. It was super delicious and didn't need any changes.

I was impressed by the fact that they offer a vegan menu, but unfortunately they brought us a non-vegan sauce with one of our dishes and it ended up contaminating our meal.

Non-veg restaurant in the harbour of naxos. it was surprised to find that they actually have a dedicated vegan menu we have the wild mushroom sauté, naxian salad and Greek pizza. the mushrooms were amazing, the salat was very good and the pizza was good (which they would expect from a cheeseless pizza).

I believe the restaurant is now under new management. According to our waiter, they didn't have a physical vegan menu because they had just opened, but you could find it online. My companion and I each ordered an appetizer or salad, along with an entree. We shared a large bottle of water and a glass of house wine. For starters, we chose the fava dip and beet balsamic salad. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the dip, as it lacked flavor and contained raw onions. We asked for bread on the side but ended up sending the dip back. However, the salad was a hit and was generous enough for three people. We ordered the mushroom risotto and avocado pesto linguine for our main courses, both of which were delicious and came in large portions. The linguine was particularly intriguing and exceeded our expectations. I suggest adding extra cherry tomatoes to enhance the dish further. Overall, we were pleased with the meal and would consider revisiting if we have the opportunity. The prices were reasonable, especially compared to the high costs in Santorini. It was a pleasant surprise to have leftovers to take home after dining.

The title pretty much sums it up - I wasn't a big fan of the salad but the Naxian potatoes were decent. It would have been nice if they had vegan mayo or ketchup to go with the potatoes. The separate vegan menu was a nice touch. I highly recommend the risotto pasta! (Review updated on August 19, 2022)
