Controllo rapido e gentile.
Vota a tutti i costi!
So there 's a lot going on here, both positive and negative. So, I would just say, do your research and read all reviews, not just on Google. Positives: Location: you really can 't beat the view. Which is the castle that 's straight in front of the hotel. That is if you get an oceanside room though. I can 't speak for the other rooms. There are several nearby bars and Cafes. Negatives: Location: Might be because I am not very familiar with the area, but other than the nearby restaurants, the area is not very walkable . I could not find a convenience store or any little shops for travel products beer nearby which led to a lot of late night walking running around. Amenities Services: So when we got there our air conditioner did not work, and it was very hot. It took a lot of effort and time, to get them to confirm that it did not work and the staff seemed to want to insist that we were not operating it properly. Eventually we were allowed to switch rooms. That AC did work well, so I am thankful for that. The staff management did not apologize for or acknowledge the inconvenience. Pool: You have to make a reservation for the pool, and they charge you per hour for using it. That was not a nice surprise. Rooms: Overall the rooms are done fairly well, although our tub kept clogging, and there was some mildew on walls. Customer Service: When I mentioned we were on our honeymoon, and it really had not been the best time there, roasting in our room for hours among other things, the desk man checked with his manager (which was nice of the desk man) and when he came back he said they would be able to comp us a 4 euro coffee on our room tab, and give us a coupon for two free drinks. :
This is our last day here in Naples before finishing our Italy trip in Rome. We booked this hotel because of the reviews and amenities, but would caution future travelers. When we arrived, our bed was partially made. We ended up placing the covers on, and there were very few pillows for a king bed with sea view. The view IS spectacular if you pay for the sea view room. However, there was so much lacking that we fail to see the value here. The remote for the TV did not work, and though wifi is supposed to be available, our signal was so weak that we could never connect consistently and therefore had to use more of our data on the international plan for our phone. The hotel advertises a pool, but we were informed that you must reserve it and also pay a fee, which is incredible considering the cost of the hotel. The breakfast is average, at best. While the hotel boasts a bar and other amenities, most were either closed or the schedule was spotty (i.e. the bar) The hotel is not close to many of the sites. You do need to hike to see much of the attractions. If you are here for business travel, I'm sure the size of the hotel is great. However, if you are traveling and want to see the heart of Naples, this is not the hotel you want. Overall, we would not stay here again if given the opportunity.
My friend and I stayed here for two nights at the end of our trip. The only good part about staying here was the location on the water and having a balcony that looked over the Gulf of Naples; absolutely beautiful. We booked a superior sea view room with a balcony and were given room 538. Pros: As mentioned, the balcony. Though, I 'm sure you can find other hotels on the strip with a nice balcony. The room itself was spacious; it had a desk, mini fridge, a coffee station, two night stands, a chair, and two twin beds. The Closet had a safe, and plenty of room to hang clothes or put stuff in drawers. Cons: The door to our room had a fake deadbolt. Not sure the purpose or reasoning for it but, when you turned it nothing happened. It was literally just a knob. No bolt, no place in the door frame for it to even bolt into. Very odd. The shower nearly flooded if you weren 't watching. Ran the water for about two minutes to get it hot and by the time I was ready to get in, the shower had about 2 inches of water! Immediately turned the water off and waited for it to drain before I even got in. Warning don 't run the water before getting in, at least not in room 538. The air conditioning was dreadful. You can call us 'spoiled Americans ' but, one of the first things I researched when booking hotels this summer in Italy was confirming they had air conditioning. This one said they did but it hardly worked. I went down to the front desk and asked if someone could please look at it (maybe we were doing something wrong, the dial was rather confusing) they said they would send someone up but no one ever came. I also heard another person from the US at the front desk asking about the air conditioning. Seems it was a universal issue! The beds were very uncomfortable; hard springy mattress. The day we checked in, we walked up to see the pool. No one was there but we were met by someone saying we needed a reservation to be up there (5 euros per person, per hour). While they answered any questions I had about making reservations, they did not like us even looking at the pool area without a reservation and escorted us out. We did not return. The breakfast was not great. Fruit, cereal, bagels. They also offered scrambled eggs that were very watery and bacon that was hardly cooked, though it wasn 't entirely clear if that came with the complimentary part or you had to pay extra. Overall, I would not recommend staying here if you prefer good air conditioning.
