The Mi Bo Kho leaned towards the sweeter side, and I was disappointed to find very little meat—only about five small pieces. My boyfriend described his meal as just okay; he had enjoyed better dishes in the past, although he noted that the meat was flavorful. He found the rice a bit dry, so he appreciated the fish sauce, although he had to ask for more. Initially, we weren't provided with utensils, and it wasn't until my boyfriend lifted his bowl of soup to drink from it that the waiter noticed and brought him a spoon. By that time, he had finished his meal and politely declined it. I might consider returning but would likely try something different from the menu next time. The prices were reasonable, and there was plenty of space for larger groups of six or more. However, the restaurant can get quite loud due to the echoing acoustics.
I strongly recommend trying their banh mi! The Dac Biet/thap cam is both high quality and reasonably priced. I've noticed that many Vietnamese restaurants tend to Americanize their sandwiches, resulting in inflated prices, but Com Tam 9 gets it right by maintaining authenticity at a fair cost. The enticing aroma of the pho and other dishes will definitely draw me back for another visit.
I absolutely love this place—it's the perfect stop before heading to get your groceries! Their dry noodles are just like the ones you find in Vietnam!
First time eating here Friday food was amazingVegetarian options: Love the options
I highly recommend this place. We have become regular customers to the point that they know what we want and they know us my name. The food is delicious, very fresh. The service is very attentive and caring. This is one of many reasons why we come back.
